This is one thing which never goes out of trend. Bandhani also called as Bandhej, in any form may it be super stylish saree or it may be a comfortable dress or even more an ultra comfort kurti or top, is one print which every Indian women loves. It holds a very important part of the wardrobe of any Indian lady. States like Rajasthan and Gujarat have this technique of tie and die method of fabric designing.The fabric is tied very tightly to produce several patterns on it. Once the fabric is colored with those tied place remaining  uncolored which makes it to a beautiful pattern.thus producing a variety of patterns like Leheriya, Mothra, Ekdali and Shikari depending on the manner in which the cloth is tied. The final products are known with various names like Khombi, Ghar Chola, Patori and also Chandrokhani etc.
  
Bandhanis have huge market locally as well as those who reside out side India as it is very traditional. One gets huge variety in Bandhani startling from the type of fabric used like cotton, silk, chiffon, georgette and large variety in the embroidery on it too like gota work, mirror work, thread work etc to get a attractive look.
